Mateya Safari Lodge is situated in the 75 000 hectare, malaria-free, Madikwe Game Reserve, which is easily accessed by road or by daily scheduled flights from Johannesburg International Airport.  The reserve is home to the super 7 (buffalo, cheetah, elephant, leopard, black & white rhino and wild dog), plains game and 350 species of birds. The lodge accommodates 10 guests, in 5 individually designed air-conditioned luxury suites.  Each offers en-suite bathrooms with open air shower, private deck and flow pool, with superb bush views.
